Whisk, who dat?

Whisk Me Away is an ocean state based bakery specializing in cakes, desserts, and pastries for every occasion.

We cater to Rhode Island events, and surrounding areas. Although we specialize in weddings and private events, don’t get it twisted— we still visit you through local markets, sell our product in various stores, and still can’t wait to get down with you in our new bakehouse (!!!) Check the ‘Catch Us’ tab above to see all of the details.

We work with fresh ingredients, none of that stuff that can’t be pronounced. We enjoy sugar, copious amounts of creamy butter, and the only syrup we wanna hear about is real deal maple (no corn syrup, please).

Our cakes are designed and intended to be enjoyed fresh, room temperature, and on an empty stomach. We applaud dessert for every meal and would love for you to have as much room as possible in your stomach for sweet treats.

A promise from us to you — your order is made in small batch, fresh, and meticulously worked on. It’s probably seen some crazy dance moves and heard a bit of terrible singing, but hey- can you blame us? Kitchen life needs a bit of spice, and so do we.

Meet Morgan

Born & raised in the Ocean State, owner and head baker Morgan fell in love with her home and everything that that tiny state has to offer. It’s no surprise that through her journey in pastry, she’s stuck to her roots and created a business here.

Working in a local bakery throughout high school, her choice to attend Johnson & Wales University was no surprise. She graduated in 2016, Summa Cum Laude, with degrees in Baking & Pastry Arts and Foodservice Management. At the age of 19, she was offered a Pastry Chef position in Newport, Rhode Island. She flourished there, and grew her pastry experience along the way. Keeping up with the restaurant scene, she started a new Pastry Chef position in Providence two years later. Providence captured her heart in a way that no other part of Rhode Island could. Cue her hardest decision, an offer for the Pastry Chef position of a new restaurant/cafe in Boston. Small town girl packed up for a slightly bigger city. Her skills in management, along with pastry, were evident here, as she was hiring a team and creating a menu for a restaurant that had yet to open. Boston.

Providence kept calling though, so she made another hard choice to come back on home.

Cue her less difficult choice of Whisk. And, wow, we out here.
